When my children were, well, children, the Internet was a different place.  Ah, who are we kidding, it was raunchy from almost the beginning.  But, it was a little different than it is now.  It was harder to find adult content than it is now, especially if you couldn’t spell very well.  Web monitoring services hadn’t yet been invented, and in my young-mother naivete, I believed that if my children were visiting the Disney website, they were staying on the Disney website.  Oh, how wrong I was. My children are older now, one is a Marine, 2 are in high school, and 1 in junior high.  But I love to pull out this list on occasion, just to remind them what little turds they were. It was the 2 oldest, who were 7 and 9 at the time.  They were supposed to be playing video games on my computer.  When I got my computer back, I checked it’s history just to make sure they were doing what they said they were doing.  Nope. The following is a list in order of their searches, typos and all, of their online sexcapades.  You can clearly see their thought process, trying to get these images to come up.  And as one after another of these search terms did not bring the results they were searching for, their desperation becomes more and more apparent, ending in their final exasperated search for just plain old tits.

These days, the Internet is more integral in our lives than ever, whether we want it to be or not.  Schools use it on a regular basis.  School assignments are distributed and collected online. Research is not done at the library or with encyclopedias any more.  It is almost all online. Security measures like KASPERSKY SAFE KIDS and CIRCLE WITH DISNEY are, popular parental controls available now.  Kaspersky is a link to activate the downloaded software, and Circle with Disney is an actual device.  Along with monitoring, it allows you to block specific websites like Omegle, which is popular with children but shouldn’t be.  Circle works with all wired and wireless devices in your home. In retrospect, I can laugh at this list now, but the internet can be a scary place if abused.  Check out the links above (aff) and protect your kids. ~W
