A properly cooked steak doesn’t need steak sauce. Ugh, ok, whatevs.

For the 99% of the rest of us, this is a delicious Steak Sauce my Aunt used to make from scratch. You probably have most of the ingredients in your refrigerator right now.

It’s cool, tangy, and has just the right amount of kick. This is very easy to prepare while the steaks are cooking.

Aunt Dolly’s Steak Sauce

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup celery finely diced

  • ¼ cup yellow onion finely diced

  • ¼ cup green pepper seeded, finely diced

  • 8 oz cocktail sauce

  • 1 cup ketchup

  • 3 tbsp worchester sauce or to taste

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 squeeze lemon

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients and place into blender
  • Blend about 15 seconds
  • Refrigerate
